Luxe For Less: Best Kept Relaxation Secret in Singapore

This is the first in a series of blogs about my top secret, luxe for less destinations in Singapore. It is these places or stores, which give me a hint of the Dubai lifestyle I sometimes miss but on a bargain Singapore price tag! I am all about affordable luxury and encouraging smart, independent women to save their money for their financial future. So how do we have the fun without overspending?

I promise, this is not advertorial. I just love affordable luxury and luxe for less. I am always the girl declaring to my friends about the bargains I have bought and great value places I have discovered. So consider this the first out of the bag with more to come.

You may have seen on my instagram that I was spending my day at the spa sometimes. I have a pretty crazy schedule and I work  most weekends, so flying off to Bali for the weekend (like many people do in Singapore) is just not an option.  Often, I only have 1 day free a week. So I started investigating places in Singapore where I could go to get some quiet and stillness, where I could basically pretend I am on holiday for 8 hours without flying anywhere. I tried quite a few places before I found this one.

I discovered that for $70++ I could enjoy all the spa facilities, including sauna, meditation labyrinth, various swimming pools, waterfall, mud mask for my body,  jacuzzi and relaxation lounges. When I am there, I literally feel like I am on holiday for the day at some resort.

If you like to be entertained, my all time fave thing to do is to go and see a movie in the swimming pool. Yes, there is a movie screen over the top of the swimming pool. You can watch a film plus eat tapas for just $40++! Seriously, that is amazing value!

Where is this magical space? The So Spa at the Sofitel Hotel on Sentosa Island. But shhhhhhh don’t tell everyone ok? Let’s keep it our little secret.
